Excelente localización de la playa. Mala comunicación del personal de recepción acerca de la transportación. Me comuniqué con ellos con varios días de antelación informándoles que una de las compañeras del grupo llegaba Domingo. Me comunicaron que ya que era la cuarta persona no se le iba a cobrar, sin embargo terminaron cobrándole $35 adicionales. No supieron resolver el problema.

I loved the hotel! Friendly staff and delicious food. I also liked that breakfast was included and the free welcome drinks! The room was always clean and so was the restaurant. There were some things that the hotel needs to improve like having a TV in the room and having 2 or more beds in the lower level cabin for disabled people. Overall, I give a 8.5 out of 10. Points. Great hotel!

Wir waren im Jahr 2017 schon einmal im Bananarama und haben uns auch diesmal sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist sehr gut, auch die Auswahl des Frühstücks ist super und unsere Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Im Vergleich zum ersten Mal fanden wir nur das Personal an der Bar und beim Frühstück weniger freundlich insbesondere zu Einheimischen und wenn man mit Lempira gezahlt hat, war zu spüren, dass sie weniger freundlich waren. Auch gibt es keinen Parkplatz mehr und das sollte entsprechend in der Anzeige angepasst werden, aber es war leicht in der Nähe einen Parkplatz zu finden. Alles in allem war es ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und wir würden das Bananarama wieder wählen, wenn wir auf Roatan sind.

We loved our stay. Especially swinging in the hammock on the porch of our room/cabana. It’s definitely rustic. So don’t expect fancy. But maintained, comfortable, safe, and steps from the beautiful beach. The staff is kind, the free breakfast is delicious, and the scuba shop fantastic! Take a dive with Zoe, you’ll absolutely love it. If you’re looking for authentic Honduran food, Bananarama is just a 1 min walk to La Placita and there you’ll find inexpensive pupusas and baleadas. Very delicious.

La habitación está en condiciones no tan óptimas para el precio que uno paga, alrededor de US$185 por noche. Ya se mira descuidada la cabaña con muchos detalles estéticos, la ducha apenas tira agua. Nuestro basurero del baño al ingresar al check in estaba sucio de la tapadera con heces, pedi que lo limpiaran en recepción pero no lo hicieron. La ubicación súper buena para disfrutar de la playa, buenos desayunos incluidos. Personal muy amable

This felt like an authentic island experience, private cabin style rooms that truly feel like a cabin. Great breakfast every morning. Excellent staff all over the resort made us feel very welcome and cared for. The beach was clean every day with plenty of chairs and umbrellas for guests.
