Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it). 」

「There are about 30 steps from the off street parking space to the Treetops deck, but we knew that going in. One arrives at a spacious deck with a fantastic view of the Bay of Islands with Russell off in the distance - hence the elevation. It was a bit too cool to dine on the deck (there is a bbq) but at the end of each day exploring it was lovely to sit with a glass of wine on the deck, watching the light fade. Treetops is just enough off the main roads that traffic noise was never an issue,...
