This is a very basic hotel in an area not close to restaurants or shops. You need to Uber everywhere due to safety issues. Value for money is good though if you want cheap travel.

Fit for short stays

Hotel workers are great, but the room is really basic and not really appealing. Only stayed for a night and was ok, but I don't think this is the type of hotel you'd book for a long vacation.

Basic accommodation for short stay

Basic hotel as noted on Hotels.com Rooms are basic but clean. Location is central and close walk to the metro. Area at night is okay, just need to be vigilante if walking around as there are people sleeping on the streets and nearby Hotel shower head from the ceiling could be better. Service was great, however English was not spoken, hence needed to speak Spanish. Overall service was friendly and efficient. Just be careful as there's poverty and beggars living within 30 yard proximity of the hotel entrance Our stay was for only one night

I got changed twice!!! I paid with Expedia and I got to my hotel late they made me pay again saying I didn’t pay. Over all terrible experience would not go again plus there were bugs everywhere in the room.

The hostel was good. Had a single private room. The below is a review for the check-in process which was bad. Not entirely their fault but things could've been better. When I checked-in, the entire city was on a blackout so the checkin was in a mess. I had to wait for office for about an hour to run through paperwork to checkin many people before me. Finally the checked me in but with keys (since they couldn't program them). I can enter the room but no lights and no AC. I had to come down at night to get a key when electricity came back.
