"We loved staying here! It’s secluded, intimate, and just picture-perfect. Abner was a great host and responded to small hiccups we experienced throughout the stay. Cabana at the La Milpa Ecolodge and Research Station seen in the early morning fog. The lodge is in the Rio Bravo Conservation area in the Belizean rainforest near the Guatemalan and Mexican borders and attracts birders and those interested in the local wildlife and Mayan ruins. "Everything was state of the art. We travel to Belize all the time and the amenities here were above and beyond what we are used to. The sunrise view is amazing. There is a Chinese market around the corner where we were able to purchase everything we wanted for breakfast and plenty of restaurants nearby. The ATM cave is about 45 minutes away, 10 minutes from Guanacaste, and not too far from cave’s branch. I definitely recommend Ansen’s Place when staying in Belmopan."
