"Ocean view from balcony, staff was wonderful, very accommodating, everything was clean and staff worked hard to make sure everything was as it should be, air conditioning worked well. In person check in takes a little time so if possible check in online. The sooner you go to meals, the hotter the food is and better selection. Fresh fruit on the salad bar, yummy omelets for breakfast. Beach is kept very clean. Whale watching very cool and reasonable priced. "

"We loved our stay here and would come again. We so appreciated overlooking the beach in a relatively quiet neighborhood, where we could easily walk to a few spots, and take a short taxi ride to town. Our suite and the property pics were just as advertised. We spent a lot of time in the pool and on the veranda outside our room. Staff was nice and helpful, and tolerated my rudimentary Spanish. Restaurant on site was good for a couple meals. "

"First and last time staying at this resort. This place looks nothing like the pictures on the brochure or online. Rooms- dirty, severely outdated, cracks in the walls, old beat up furniture, uncomfortable beds, a lightbulb in the bathroom for your light. No facecloths, only one bottle of water daily for two people even though you can’t drink the tap water or use it to brush your teeth. Room not sound proof at all, you hear everything. Food- absolutely disgusting aside from the omelettes at breakfast and a few other things. They tried to pass off cut up hotdog wieners for ham at the omelette station one morning. Even the specialty restaurants (good luck trying to get a reservation, almost impossible) are not very good, maybe one or two items are okay. The food is very much geared towards the Mexican people who are on vacation there and they get preferential treatment. Drinks- they use super cheap alcohol, and if you don’t tip every single time they are rude. And the drinks are not good. Not enough lounge chairs at the pool, they get saved at a very early hour every morning. They will clean the pool and add chemicals during the day so you can’t use the pool. Entertainment is terrible. There are better resorts around, don’t stay at this one. Better yet, find a condo or apartment to rent. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Way too expensive for what you get. This is a one star resort, giving two stars would be very generous!!!"

"Our deck over looked the ocean. It was a highlight watching sunsets and hearing the waves through the night with just the screen door closed. Staff were friendly and enjoyed breakfast each morning. The hotel was vlose to all ammenities and central for walking to neighboring towns. The room was clean and the house keepers were lovely. The hotel is a little dated. But functional. "

"Was very good choice for my parents (dad 91 years and mom 78) they a Joy walking around the hotel and they like the hospitality 100% recommended "

"They were having power problems so no ac or lights . The beds are very hard as well made it difficult to sleep."
