Terrible noise from the restaurant below the hotel

The hotel itself is of a good quality. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Beds and shower are really good. The environment is great; with a view on the Rila mountains. Unfortunately all this is being 'wiped out' because of the unbearable noise from the restaurant below the hotel. The noise starts in the afternoon until midnight. We booked this hotel for 2 nights to take the first bus of 7.40 h to the Monastery. Obviously we went to bed early. We had a terrible night. If you don’t mind noise during the evening you can take this hotel. If peace and quiet are important for you, stay away from this hotel! There are still a few other options in Rila.

très bon rapport qualité prix

Une dame agée nous accueille. Elle ne parle pas anglais mais elle arrive à se faire comprendre. Chambre et salle de bain très propre. Rénovation récente de l'ensemble. Petit balcon. Très bien. 3 ou 4 places de stationnement en bas de l'hotel. Seul bémol : pas de bac de douche dans la salle de bain.

Bon hôtel mais village triste

L'hôtel est très bien indiqué dès l'entrée du village de Rila. Il dispose d'un petit parking. L'accueil est très sympathique, voire chaleureux même si la personne qui nous reçoit ne parle pas anglais. Le prix de la chambre (très raisonnable) n'inclut pas le petit déjeuner.Celui ci est facturé en fonction de ce qu'on choisit sur la carte. La chambre est assez grande et très propre avec un grand balcon orienté vers le village. Situé à une vingtaine de kilomètres du monastère et proche des pyramides de Stob, cet établissement peut constituer une halte intéressante pour visiter la région.

Fantastic memories

We stayed in Hotel Centaur for four nights in August 2014, our time there added something magical to our trip and has given us wonderful memories. The hotel is owned and run by a mother and son team, who did so much to make us feel welcome and gave us a lovely taste of the local culture and cuisine.

Perfekt for besøk på Rila klosteret. Litt lenge å vente på drikke til middagen som vi spiste om kvelden på hotellet, (den pleier å komme før maten, men her ventet vi vel 1 time før vi fikk drikke og mat samtidig).

Globalement impression favorable... Juste un conseil : lors de la réservation il était indiqué que le paiement de la chambre devait se faire avec la carte présentée pour la réservation. En pratique, on ne peut payer qu'en argent liquide (monnaie locale ou euros).... Donc mieux vaut le savoir (même s'il y a un automate dans le village)

In der Nähe des Rila-Klosters

Gute Lage, ca. 15 km zum Rila-Kloster. Schönes, mit EU-Mitteln erbautes Haus mit kleinem Retsaurant im Innenhof. Bad unzweckmäßig, da Dusche ohne Vorhang und (deshalb) keine Ablagen. Kein Zimmerservice (zumindest bei 2 Übernachtungen). Personal freundlich, aber ohne Englisch-Kenntnisse. Frühstück individuell, aber nicht sehr umfangreich.

Au centre du village, un hôtel simple, très propre, tout neuf. Un accueil très chaleureux.

Hôtel simple, très propre, neuf, récent, meubles en bois clair naturel, très agréables.La patronne, Alexandra très chaleureuse pour un accueil convivial malgré la difficulté linguistique. Au total un bon hôtel au rapport qualité/prix/agrément positif. Un gros défaut, un ÉNORME défaut (mais facile à corriger ) : le tissus des draps est rêche, piquant, voire AGRESSIF pour la peau, oblige à dormir habiller pour la protéger...!!!
