There is a short walk to the falls from the campsites. Way back in the day it was just a river with a high concentration of calcium. Over the years, the calcium built up and created the falls and some neat caves! It's a fun place to explore!!

short easy walk from the parking lot to the falls, you can go under the falling water and there are a few caves to explore.
Awesome waterfall!!
While driving in the early morning from Riffle to Meeker, this mix of old wearing mountains and modern power-lines just struck me. The sun just lit the face with the raged edges right, and the power-lines just in front is a remainder that it is the new power. I think it is #Golden with al the vibrant yellow of the rock layers.
