Marriot used to be a decent chain. They have gone downhill. The elevator was dirty, the hallways looked unvacummed. Not even complimentary coffee the other chains offer. My bathroom had someone elses soap scum on edge of tub. And it wasnt cheap for a weekday. My last time in Marriot.

The elevator was dirty, fingerprints all over the interior. Floor desperately needed to be vacuumed. Our bathroom had a dirty tub area and the sink wasn’t cleaned. The very nice man at the front desk apologized and said that someone in his staff couldn’t come to work and so things weren’t up to snuff.

When we first walked in there was a musty smell to the room. The tv mount is either broken or need tighten because it only pointed down. Also the food from the former occupant was still in the refrigerator.

The hotel was great, staff, decor and rooms were wonderful. Our only complaint is no "free" breakfast. For the price we paid for the room we shouldve been offered at least a continental. We had to pay over $40 for two coffees and avocado toast. Just because it was a "nicer" hotel doesnt mean the guests should pay those prices for food.
