「Room was lovely and warm. Great shower, excellent choice of TV channels, room service was a bonus and delicious and the breakfast was superb. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is beautiful and historic, the grounds are kept beautifully too. A great stay and would definitely stay again. Fabulous price as well!」

「The bathroom was lovely and great toilet paper quality and towels, nice toiletries too. Nice tea tray and bed was comfy. However there was a gaping hole filled with cobwebbed pipes and the view out of the window was over bins. The room was cold but a portable heater was provided and sufficient. Dinner was great, the food was of an acceptable quality but the star of the show was the staff that served dinner. They were not intrusive, but were so helpful, a great steady pace of service. 「Staff were impeccable. Food excellent. Whole standard of the place was top class. Just a few minor points to note & could be improved - bedroom window could not be opened to let in fresh air & badly needed dusting. Not enough electrical sockets & could have been better positioned close to mirror for make up, hair etc. Other than that, it was a beautiful atmospheric and classy hotel and full of character. 」
