「The location was convenient to so much of what makes the Berkshires special. We were minutes from Tanglewood, under an hour to Bash Bish Falls & MASS MOCA amongst other places to visit. The staff was efficient and very friendly. Our ice maker wasn't working & maintenance came within minutes to replace it. The units were spacious and clean but dated with some worn out features. Some of the soft goods could use replacing (pillows), upholstery on couches was torn in places and paint was peeling on...

「I usually stay here and yes staff are nice and rooms are decent but I’ve seen a decline in amenities. Maybe the expense of things - bathrobe in room, water and snacks were what I was used to seeing .in the room.」

「Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing. The grounds are so beautiful . There were a number of lovely places inside and out for sitting and relaxing. We loved the welcome drink and a bottle of wine ( choice of red or white) to have in our room. We enjoyed it on our balcony with its lovely views of the main house and the yard. Unfortunately we couldn’t attend the cognac tasting as we were busy. I would love to come to the Cornell again-and again!」

「We liked that we could walk to Tanglewood--the location was the strongest asset of the property. There was minimal staff-- I received a text that front desk staff was leaving at 7pm. The room was adequate. The heat exchanger worked but the air blew directly on our bed. There were no coffee pods with caffeine for early risers.」

For a very reasonable price, you are close to all the culture of Lenox and the rest of the Berkshires and you have Lake Laurel and October Mountain a short distance away. It's on a main road, so it's very easy to get where you're going, but traffic at night is minimal, so it's easy to get a peaceful rest. 「Worst motel ever. the front desk lady is extremely rude. It was a very cold night, the bed blanket on bed is thin, 10:30 PM. I came to front desk to try to get another thicker blanket, but nobody was there. I nocked the door, ring the bell, called the phone. Nobody answered. Until 11:00 PM, she came out from inside. She was very unhappy that I disturbed her. She said there is no additional blanket in the motel. What ? You run a motel business and no blanket? I questioned her,  And she changed...
