The rooms were well kept. The staff are very poliet, caring, and professional. Love the scenery and the cleainess of the property. Very family oriented.
The ambiance was beautiful. The place was extremely clean and the room/suite was huge. The staff in both the grill and the restaurant were very polite, and meals were served in a timely manner. Was delicious also. My disappointment. I returned the key after our stay and the receptionist did not even ask how way your stay, did you like the facility, can we count on you staying here if you return to the country? Some small talk just to get your feedback or to make sure your were comfortable. NOTHING. The young lady just took the keys and said let me check if you owe anything, a few seconds later she said no, you do not. I left. Poor customer service. I was informed by several people the owner Ruth is very nice, but unfortunately she was out of the country during our visit
Enjoyed our stay. Stayed in the two bedroom cottage which had a lot of space, good kitchen and was cleaned daily. AC units in bedrooms worked well and it was a convenient location for our needs.
The on-site restaurant had some amazing food! One of the fave parts about the hotel. The room I was in was renovated so it was much more modern than the photos would lead you to believe. And the staff were great - very patient and polite. Overall, our stay was great!
Crispy clean is all I can say. The only drawback of this hotel is the steep slopes within the compound. Elderly or senior citizens need to be extremely careful to avoid walking on the slopes and use alternative routes. The view is spectacular.
It was perfect for a 1 night stay before heading home. Friendly staff, clean but could use some redecorating in the rooms. Wasn’t a fan of the bed covers, curtains and shower curtains. Tropical look would be a better option than Victorian look in my opinion.
I enjoyed my stay here. The front desk staff was very nice, friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping called daily to ask if I needed fresh towels or trash bags. I was given the option of ordering from the kitchen since I had no cash on me. The microwave and fridge and neatly tucked away behind cabinets and you have to turn on the plug for the fridge. My only issue was trying to figure out the hot water heater. I took cold showers most days. Warmer showers happen on hot days when the sun is out and between 1pm and 4pm (at least in my experience there). There were several lightning storms and the first one took out my wifi. The front desk called the IT guy and he stayed until it was repaired (took from 10am-3pm to repair). Everyone was just so welcoming and happy to help if I had a request. I would stay here again.
The property is well kept, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. The pool is very nice. The food was okay, wasn’t real impressed with that. If you’re looking for a party atmosphere this is not the place to be. Dogs barking at night were annoying to me.
Beautiful hotel! We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage. Fully equipped kitchen, great A/C in the bedrooms. Very comfortable, nice pool and beautiful grounds.
It was a beautiful Island my vacation was awesome would recommend this place to everyone

Disliked: Staff & service
Guest house
The staff was reasonably helpful, however, the facilities offered by this hotel were seriously lacking. Breakfast was ok. Hotel is not a good choice for business users due to the poor location and guest house feeling.
Spent a quiet 4 nights here in March under the attentive care of the owners Steve and Ruth and their front desk gal, Ms. Payne. They helped us secure a reputable driver and guide to take us hiking the 4 hours up to the volcano and back via the Black Hole and Mesopotamia, going and coming. The volcano is a must if you have the strength and stamina to hike 2 hours up and 2 hours down (we are good hikers so can't imagine taking much less time). Ruth applauded us taking the local van (which fit up to 23 persons at one point), music blaring, which is accessed easily from the little supermarket a short walk down the hill from the hotel. It costs just $1 US so saves while entertaining. Everyone on the bus is very nice and squeezes to fit you in. We rode all the way to Kingston where we hoped on another up the hill to visit the Botanical Gardens, churches and then later, the local markets to purchase food for the well appointed kitchen in our room. By the third day, we were ready for the pool which was clean and had no smell of chlorine. Being of fair skin, we sat in the fabulous pavilion and read much of the day. When I went to ask the Cook for some ice for our rum punch, I remarked that something smelled delicious. She smiled and offered me a bite of cod cake she was making and then made us a complimentary bowl with chili sauce which we ate by the pool. The rooms are comfortable, large and clean. Everyone that works there smiles & is there to help. A beautiful & peaceful location.
A nice stay. Very friendly staff who did everything to make our stay a good one.
We heard about plans of making a new and shorter acess-road to the hotel. That will be a great improvement for the hotel. Good luck!
Extremely friendly, courteous and accomodating management and staff. A well kept breath of fresh air peaceful surrounding. Perfect home away from home, with a simply elegant Caribbean decor. I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone. My stay were well spent.
