I LOVED the room. It was conveniently located to the elevator/stairs, and city shopping, had a beautiful motif with relaxing colours, and is located near local shopping.
The staff was diverse, friendly, and professional.

My husband and I stayed in a double room with terrace for two nights. Our room was clean and well appointed. We liked the world map during the Age of Discovery on the wall. The view of the Tejo River from the terrace was gorgeous. We happened to see one of the cruise ships leaving the port of Lisbon. Also, we enjoyed the hotel’s free archaeological remains tour after breakfast. What a historic hotel! The hotel is within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants and train/subway stations.

ROCKY EDGE OF OCEAN. FROM HERE VASCO DA GAMA CHANGED EUROPE BY SHOWING THE WAY TO THE SPICES OF INDIA AND INDONESIA. NO LONGER WAS FOOD SEASONED ONLY WITH SALT AND MOLD. WE HAD WONDERFUL MEAL AT THE WATERSIDE RESTAURANT. ONE OF THE VERY BEST SEASIDE RESTAURANTS IN THE WORLD!
