The staff at the Farol Hotel was excellent, specifically Sophia in dining and Artur at the bar & dining. Both provided excellent service, but with THE nicest friendliest touch. It was a lovely hotel but for the price, there were aspects that were less than 5 star. The pool area is kind of dated, and service at the pool was mixed (ie you do your own towels etc). The staff was great. Dinner in the main restaurant barely edible. For the money, it was a mixed bag - it seems like a potentially very good hotel that is in still working out a bunch of kinks. But again, the staff was great.
