"On our arrival after six hours travelling in a heatwave we were informed that the air conditioning wasn't working. From the sign on the door it was obviously not a recent problem. We feel we should have been told prior to our arrival when we would have had chance to book alternative accommodation. As it was we had no choice but to accept. "While I was grateful that the room was air conditioned, the shower was very poor. I imagine that it will be similar to those on submarines. In order to operate the shower you were required to push the control button, which the allowed the water to flow for a very limited amount of time, you could just about manage to get wet. Then you could apply shampoo, soap and or body wash. You then were required to keep pushing the button to obtain water to rinse yourself down. Not a great experience."
