"As a frequent Expedia traveler, I value the exclusive perks offered worldwide. However, I encountered several issues during my recent stay at this hotel.
Firstly, we were subjected to a three-day experience in a hotel where the sea was closed due to a drowning accident. The reason for the closure was not provided, and there was a significant concern regarding the whereabouts of the lifeguards.
Secondly, while the Dominican people are generally friendly, the hotel staff’s behavior was inconsistent. They were only polite when we showed interest in their breakfast or engaged in conversations about timeshare matters.
Thirdly, the vacations were intended to celebrate my daughter’s fourth birthday, which falls on April 9th. She selected the hotel based on the beach (which was closed) and the children’s club, where she was denied entry because she was still three years old, despite being 361 years old.
Fourthly, despite being a VIP guest, I was not recognized or provided with any of the exclusive perks that Expedia offers."
