Top Reno Central Library Hotel Reviews
Peppermill Resort Spa Casino
10/10 Excellent
"My fiancée and I LOVED THIS PLACE! We went to Reno to visit my brother, who lives there. He wanted to show us Lake Tahoe and some other things to do around town, but we pushed most of that off until our next Reno visit because The Peppermill had everything we needed or wanted right there at our fingertips, and we really didn’t want to leave. We had such an amazing time!
The room was beautiful and clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the arcade was a blast, the gambling was fun, the pool was amazing, the restaurants were delicious, the lounge had a live band that blew our socks off, and I could go on about all the little things in between.
I found out during our stay that my brother’s best friend recommends The Peppermill to all of his friends and family when they come to visit, and now I can highly recommend it as well. We will definitely be back again someday! "
"Very clean, some of the food was very good but over priced. They offer a varety of things to do. The couple's massage was amazing and they treat you very well in the spa. Drinks were hit or miss depending on where you went"
"Such a great place to stay. The rooms were big with a fridge and microwave, the beds were very comfortable, and the pool was perfect temperature. While the hotel does not have a restaurant in site, you have many dining options just a few steps away. This will be the only place I stay from now on in Reno. "
Whitney Peak Hotel Reno, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"From the moment we arrived at Whitney Peak, we knew we’d picked the right place. The location couldn’t be better — right next to the Reno Arch and within walking distance of so many great restaurants, coffee shops, and entertainment.
The staff is the standout here: warm, genuinely friendly, and eager to help with anything from dinner recommendations to arranging transportation. It never felt like “just another hotel stay” — it felt personal.
Our room was spotless, modern, and spacious, with huge windows framing the city and mountains. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, the linens felt luxurious, and the little touches — like locally inspired decor and high-quality toiletries — made it feel special.
One of the biggest perks is that it’s smoke-free, which is a rare and welcome change in downtown Reno. You can actually breathe fresh air as you walk through the lobby. The vibe is relaxed but still upscale, and there’s a cool, boutique feel throughout.
The climbing wall outside is an absolute showstopper — even if you’re not climbing it, it gives the place a sense of energy and adventure. The fitness center is excellent, and the on-site restaurant serves a fantastic breakfast and creative cocktails in the evening.
All in all, Whitney Peak delivers the perfect balance of comfort, style, and location. Whether you’re in Reno for business, a getaway, or just passing through, this hotel is a breath of fresh air. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in the city."
