"Welcoming staff who were happy and attentive. Relaxed atmosphere in bar and reception area. Smooth check in, we arrived an hour early and experienced no problems. Room was spotless, aircon excellent. Ideal for Sloterpark (Loveland festival) Train into Amsterdam central from Lelylaan took about 10mins. They run every 15 mins until the early hours"

"Great location close to 397 airport buss stop and just across the street from the bustling Leidseplein entertainment and nightlife hub in southwest central Amsterdam. Easy walk to the Museumplein hub. Staff always friendly and helpful. Good size room with cocktail table and desk. Rain and handheld shower with good pressure and hot. Cold AC which was huge during the heatwave. People complain about the old windows not providing good sound proofing. We slept well with black out curtains and our canal view was awesome. Excellent breakfast buffet along with eggs, omelettes, waffles and pancakes made to order. All around good value and would not hesitate to stay there again."

"This hotel worked well for our need while visiting Amsterdam. It’s located a few steps from the train, tram and bus that has routes/stops close to tourist sites. Our stay was excellent mainly because of the awesome staff (reception/breakfast crew/ housekeeping crew). Each staff member is genuinely helpful, patient and mindful of our requests and concerns. We definitely highly recommend this IHG hotel."

"Oh my goodness! WHAT a find!! I was on a budget and found this quirky and creative space to stay in Amsterdam- we loved it! The accommodation spaces are so different and alternative- such a great idea. We loved being on the fringes of town- the public transport links are fab and you could even walk in easily too. The staff are all so friendly, welcoming and helpful- nothing was too much trouble for them. Our bedroom was just what we needed and so comfortable- under bed storage a great idea for living out of a suitcase! I was a little hesitant about a shared bathroom but all the units were so well maintained, clean and tidy. We felt vey laid back and comfortable- there was a great vibe here. We'll be back!"

"Couldn’t ask for friendlier staff; they immediately made me feel welcome. The room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfasts were delicious, and the breakfast space has the coolest vibe! And the ability to book a bike from the hotel, use it all day, then park it in the basement and go straight to your hotel room is a cyclist’s dream come true! Even the location is perfect: just far enough from the city centre to be quiet, but not enough to be inconvenient. Literally around the corner from Vondelpark. (Not sure what makes it an “eco-hotel” … granted, they don’t have fridges in the rooms, and they supposedly plant a tree when you skip housekeeping, but it seems a reach to call it eco-friendly.) At any rate, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this hotel!"

"We spent 4 nights here and really enjoyed the facility. The pool was small and didn’t let me bring my iPad in for reading, but otherwise all was great. We paid for the breakfast and felt it was worth it - because we hate finding places to eat. The location was convenient to mass transit. We rented bikes for our last day and which we had done it for other days. The bike rental was easy and made travel in the city a breeze. Would definitely stay here again."
