"We entered the room and it was hot, we turned the air on and the room never cooled down. We waited 3 hours and couldn’t sleep, so went to the front desk and they offered to pay for our parking. We went back down again and complained and then they offered us a different room. That room cooled down in about 39 minutes. I’d suggest if the room doesn’t cool down within 30 minutes, go tell them."

"Was excited to see the city lights from this hotel and hopefully an overlook of Universal Studios. Got placed on the bottom floor where I had a view of a grey roof outside our floor length windows, right off the bat made me sad. The shuttle to and from universal studios and universal city walk was nice, fills up fast but the drivers are nice, just have to have your kids sit on your lap to make more room for others. Ordered breakfast in the room for one morning, breakfast sandwichs are good but are way over priced, as well as the milks. Didn't realize until after the fact that they charge an automatic 21% gratuity on everything, if I would have known this I wouldn't have wrote in such a big tip. Went to the restaurant one night where you have to pay 45 dollars for a steak and 30 dollars for incredibly dry chicken, it's shown with sauce in the picture however mine did not come with any sauce. Went to spend our last day in the pool with the kids, figuring we would relax, however a few hours in and there was poop in the pool, which I know wasnt the hotels fault but this left us with not much left to do since not much else was planned and the pool was tapped off. Parking there if you do it yourself is 55 dollars a night, but they add on a parking tax too which brings it to over 60 a night, and since my room service with the parking brought my total to over the initial 200 they hold for incidentals they decided to place a hold on another 200 from my account. Fun fun..."

"Our stay was for 4 nights. We just wanted a clean room, safe area, free parking and a good, accessible area, all at a good price. Check, check, check check and check. A great value for the money. We would definitely recommend!"

"The window in my room was open into the view of the alley which was dangerously annoying and the property manager wanted me to wait til the next day to fix it and had no other room to move me to…so my husband had to fix it on his own because I could not sleep knowing that window is open. Then there was no hairdryer and I had to keep asking for one. No one at the front desk for assistance. Added fees which were not mentioned! "

"I had an excellent stay here! They are super close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and all the main attractions in the area. It’s easy to get around and access to everything. The property was clean and had enough to keep you entertained. "
