「A real gem of a hotel. Lovely spacious rooms off the beating track but so easy to walk to key venues, catch tram and train or taxi called for by wonderful reception. Staff so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend a stay if visiting Rio…. I don’t think I would have been as adventurous if staying in the busy parts of town 」

「I very much enjoyed my stay at Vila Galé! The staff were excellent from check in to check out, the property itself is beautiful in an old, but updated colonial property. I stayed in one of the apartments right beside the pool and terrace, and even while you were situated with a walkway outside the room, I felt safe and comfortable enough to open the windows wide and take a nap or do whatever within the room.
