「If you are looking to not perhaps pay as much for The Lodge, this absolutely should be on your radar. The team, rooms, location, breakfast, all the things hit the mark. While I think the remotes likely need to be replaced (as we got the batteries replaced on day 2), due to many thumbs aggressively finding the right channel, that’s still not dropping the 5 STAR rating. We will be back and also for the location, both for walkable options and also a nice river walk, can’t go wrong.」

「The staff was nice and the pool was awesome, but the property is run down and it feels like they just threw a coat of paint in it rather than doing necessary updates. The bathroom had a broken light switch and the toilet was wonky. The water pressure was super hard and the drain couldn’t keep up so you had to stand in your dirty water when taking a shower. The bathroom also smelled like musty mildew. The breakfast was also really sad. The juice machine was broken and the hot water for oatmeal...

「Our room was located on bottom floor. Between the noise from guest above us and city noise, we didn't sleep very well. They only offer coffee in the lobby. They did offer breakfast before covid. It would be nice to bring it back. Our mini fridge was stuck on freeze mode and almost froze my insulin before I saw it had been turned all the way up! In the bathroom the toilet was low to the ground causing a trip to the toilet an experience. When taking a shower, water temp very nice, but the shower...

「I was staying here on the last leg of a 9 day motorcycle road trip. This was by far the worst hotel I stayed at. The front desk has security glass making it hard to talk to the staff. When asked they said it was not removed since the pandemic. This seems odd, since no other hotels I've stayed at has this. I wonder if it's actually because this is a dangerous neighbourhood. Though I didn't specifically ask for a non-smoking room, this room smelled of cigarette smoke. No microwave, no fridge, no...
