Hotel is near USF easy to get to football games.

You can go on a tour of Raymond James Stadium for very cheap (I think $15 or less). It was an hour and a half and very enjoyable, even if you are not a sports/Bucs fan.

Traveled up to Tampa to watch the Yankees play a Spring Training game against the Baltimore Oreos. Cool windy evening with balmy 64 degrees in southwest Florida. Beautiful well manicured ball park.
