「Loved our stay here. Hotel is much bigger than what meets the eye from the street (so they were able to accommodate our request for 2 separate beds. I think we essentially got a free upgrade). It's in a good central location, with everything within walking distance. Travel tips: Book a guided tour of Kilkenny Castle if you can. 「We had a lovely one night stay recently for a wedding we were attending in the rivercourt hotel, it was amazing value for money. The man dealing with us on check in was so so kind and chatty, we had arranged early check in prior to our stay and this was absolutely no problem which was great. The rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable. Such a great stay we will definitely be back again. Denise & James. 」

「Very pleasantly surprised! Lovely place.」

「Our stay was an absolute dream! Lorna and Peter provided a one of a kind experience. Upon arrival we were giving a tour of the farm and grounds, then a walk through our cottage, which was clean, well maintained and full of activities. Lorna then invited us to check out the afternoon milking, then meet and PET the cows and then young calfs who were curious enough to walk over. 「We loved the experience of staying in a genuine castle! It was a beautiful property with trails for walking and wildlife wandering on site with horses! The only thing I’d change were the sheers on the bathroom window (felt a little exposed. The staff were lovely and we would definitely stay again and longer to enjoy the area more! 「The staff were very welcoming. Being an older Hotel without elevators, the staff helped us with our luggage. Great location with lots of nearby restaurants, pubs, and shops. They recommended a nearby pub which we thoroughly enjoyed. 」

「Our host was so delightful, friendly, and accommodating. She was a wonderful taste of local Ireland hospitality and reality, excited to have us stay in her beautiful Bed and Breakfast. The room was spacious and the facilities were expansive and beautiful. It was awesome to be in an agricultural, quiet area like a respite from the bustle of traveling.
