Our family of four with two teenagers had such a lovely and peaceful stay here in a 1 bedroom family suite. We woke up to sunrise views. Beach here is so quiet (no other visitors other than villa guests/ faces the windward side a bit rough to swim) yet only a 20min walk to Muri where you can find dining options. We arrived late into Rarotonga and the kind host Svein was there to greet us and fridge had milk/toast/cereal. Rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at The Passage Villas. The villa was beautifully presented, very clean, and extremely comfortable – it truly felt like a home away from home. The space was equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing and stress-free holiday. The location is fantastic, peaceful and private, yet still close to everything. Waking up each morning surrounded by such a tranquil atmosphere made our stay even more special. It is also the perfect spot to enjoy breathtaking sunrises – starting the day with such a beautiful view was truly unforgettable. We especially appreciated how quiet and relaxing the environment was, perfect for unwinding and enjoying quality time. Communication and the overall experience were smooth and easy from start to finish. We would happily stay here again!

Stayed in the ocean view family villa. Villa was very clean, well furnished and well maintained -serviced daily. Pool is a great as beach is not sandy but is secluded. Great location - Turangi Eatery at the end of the driveway, Vili’s Burger Joint and small grocery store/petrol station just up the road. Short drive to Muri Night markets and the Muri lagoon.

A Dream!

Beautiful beach houses directly on the east coast of Rarotonga. Very clean. Comfortably furnished. The hosts fulfill all wishes, very attentive and helpful. Pool was clean, safe and inviting. There were pool toys available and the poolside loungers were great. The room was clean, appropriately furnished and had great indoor- outdoor flow. The initial breakfast and local bananas and mango were a nice touch. Michelle and Svein were great hosts. They were friendly and helpful. When my wife had a fall at night they were able to provide a great first aid kit, support and advice on local health care options for which we were very grateful. Couldn’t recommend Passage Villas highly enough.

This is the place to stay if you want an authentic Rarotongan experience while still being close to Muri and snorkelling areas. Seeing whales every day was an unexpected highlight! Our hosts were incredible- knowledgeable and always helpful. Would highly recommend.

We loved staying at Passage Villas, very close to town and the owners were beautiful hosts. Stunning views on the beach. Would recommend getting a unit on the beach, however the family unit we were in was also comfortable. My 3yr old son loved it there. They also serviced the room everyday where we would spend the day out and return to a nice clean place with fresh towels. Amazing ❤️

Great view from our room, private being upstairs also. Lovely hosts, very helpful. However for the price, one would assume that wifi would be in the room and toiletries supplied! Note the beach out front is also not swimable, on shore waves!! Recommend if you’re after a private stay near Muri Beach (3-5 min drive) though.

Loved our stay here, the room was great and we were very comfortable. The ocean view was memorizing and having the air conditioning was a real plus when the days got really hot. Most of all the owners Michele & Svein were so welcoming and they went out of their way to help us out, they gave us with food when we arrived and had none of our own, they drove us places until we were able to arrange our own transportation and they also put together a lovely night where we could share some drinks with them and other guests. Overall I'm really glad we stayed here and I'm happy to recommend them to anyone.

What an experience. Spent 5 days relaxing, listening to the waves and watching the whales from our villa Michele & Svein are incredible hosts, felt like staying with family. Svien and Michelle were absolutely lovely, and have the property to match. The villas were well maintained and in a spectacular location right by the water. Would never get tired of waking up to that view. The room was very comfortable, and had both a fan and a heat pump for those hot days/nights. The hosts were very friendly and made some great recommendations of places to go and things to do. Could not recommend this place enough. They really had all the bases covered with a relaxing pool and even had a bar onsite for people to use. A
