"We absolutely loved staying at Luis’ place! The area is quiet and the view from our room was incredible. The place is located a bit outside the city but we had dinner at a nice vegetarian cafe nearby (which was great even though we’re not vegetarians). Luis was very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are modern and some of the best we have experienced in Peru. Such great value for money. The WiFi worked great as well!"

"The staff was very kind and helpful and the location was great. Breakfast was healthy and tasty, although we missed having fresh fruit. The room was clean and comfortable, but we were disappointed that there was no window to get fresh air. We would stay again, if we return to Ollantaytambo."

"This hotel is a complete adventure, it’s beautiful and makes you feel so connected to nature. You feel you are almost touching the stars. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is friendly and really helpful. A must to experience if you go to Ollaytantambo. Not a place for people looking for party or going to town. It’s very far away and very difficult to access, so make your plans about going and staying there ."

"This property is located in an unbelievably beautiful area surrounded by mountains, but it is quite far from Urubamba. Because of this, getting to the city is difficult unless you arrange a taxi. Fortunately, the hotel provides a 24/7 paid taxi service. The hotel features a beautiful restaurant with kind, friendly, and attentive staff. They carefully listened to our allergy restrictions and ensured all of our dietary needs were met. It is wonderful that such a remote location offers a great dining option exclusively for hotel guests. However, the overall rating is 3 stars instead of 5 because of the taxi service, which the hotel outsources. We asked our driver to take us to a famous farm known for llamas and alpacas, but he took us to a different local business instead because it benefited him financially. Even though we paid for a full 6 hours and offered to pay extra, the driver took a shortcut to Cusco and ignored our original request simply because he thought the destination was too far. He clearly had an arrangement with a local boutique and prioritized taking us there, which ruined our experience in Peru a bit and forced us to look for that experience elsewhere. Because the hotel is isolated and guests are dependent on Spanish-speaking drivers, you may find yourself at a disadvantage."

"We had a beautiful experience in this property. This place Is luxurious and has everything you need to be able to do your tours and travels. Nestled between tall mountains, the creek runs through the property, you can hear the river at night and watch the stars. They provide Tumi alpaca blankets so you can sit outside and enjoy the stars. Just beautiful, We stayed for 3 nights in Cabin 17. Comfortable and clean, the complementary breakfast is a la carte and delicious. The bread is made in house and all the vegetables and other foods are grown on-site. The chef is excellent and on-site menu was so complete we didn't have the need to eat out. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We needed to use their free shuttle to the train station, they were waiting for us next day at 6am with a boxed delicious breakfast of pesto sandwiches and home made carrot cake. We had an issue with the water heater and due to our early am schedules with all day tours we couldn't tell them but did mentioned it on the last day. All I can say is they made up for it and were very concerned about or comfort and experience. I can say that this is probably the best hotel and property in the entire area."
