「We had the wonderful experience of being in a room with beds almost as hard as boards and a "service dog" barking for hours next door because its owners left it caged while they went somewhere until midnight. The manager refused to do anything. The night desk clerks tried multiple times to reach the owner of the dog multiple times and even went into the room to make sure no one was hurt (kudos to them). An actual trained service dog would not need to be left behind or would bark incessantly...

「This hotel was the nastiest hotel we’ve ever seen. It was so bad we left within 15 mins and booked another hotel up the road. The check in experience was ok, but the man behind the counter wasn’t wearing anything but casual clothes, so that was our first red flag. They also didn’t have any food or drinks at the front desk aside from 2 bulging cans of coke and a few bottles of water for cash only, which we didn’t have.
