"Beautiful quiet hotel, well situated. Nice rooms but the two women who worked the front desk had majorly bad attitudes and shouldn't work in hospitality. They were both unpleasant and seemed annoyed that a customer showed up to check in. They were very abrupt and borderline rude. Such a shame, because I can't say enough good things about the property itself! Great pool, game room and rooms. Very clean."

"Hotel feels like it has seen better days but is functional and property and rooms are clean . Pool and hot tub nice. Rooms could use better decor. Restaurant is closed . Needs better path to be able to go to beach which is few blocks away"

"The rooms are beautiful. Very modern/mid century with everything you need. A Nespresso machine with plenty of pods. A large beautiful walk-in shower with plenty of water pressure. The beds are very comfortable with soft linens. Two very plush robes, and more than enough towels, so you won't need to gather more day by day. There's a nice touch by leaving you two brand new water bottles that you can feel throughout the property in their filling stations.The rooms are quite large. There's a small couch as well as an area that you could work off of. The hotel is still going under some renovations on the property but other than having to check in at a location by the golf club you did not really notice. The property itself is very clean and well maintained. I expect that when the reception area is complete it also will be beautiful. The lighting in the room can be set to turn on and off when you enter and leave, so you're not fumbling for light switches in the middle of the night. The decor is really beautiful. The hallways leading to your room are immaculate. And there was plenty of parking. It really has become my favorite hotel in the Del Mar rancho Santa Fe area. "

"Beautiful room and property. Relaxing pool with no kids. Lots of little books throughout the property to sit and hang out. Nice but very little walkable town nearby. The service was incredible — they light your fire, bring you water, and are very nice. Food is good too. "
