More than everything needed for budget trips!

Great host, it's a quiet town anyway but it's nice to wake up with breakfast overlooking the country. In general it was very welcoming and excellent value for money.

we slept one night on our way from the dead sea to the south. the place was very clean, nice common kitchen so we bought our dinner in the supermarket and prepare it in house, lovely yard where one can sit and enjoy the evening Brisa.

Lovely, clean guest house with great service

The guest house is a three-story, former single-family home in a residential neighborhood. It is across the street from, yes, a couple of white hills made of chalk, which made for a nice early-morning climb and lookout spot. The sunsets and sunrises in the area were highlights of my stay. The host, Avishai, speaks mother tongue-level English; provided great service and a lot of helpful information; and I enjoyed speaking with him. I also enjoyed spending time with and speaking with the volunteers. They started during my stay, were friendly, outgoing, and provided great service. While getting there and around by foot and public transportation is certainly possible, getting to/from most of the nearby parks, nature reserves, and hiking trails requires private transportation (or an organized tour/guide). The guest house is just a couple of minutes' walk from a bus stop with service to the rest of the town in addition to Be'er Sheva. The provided breakfast was simple and tasty, especially the fresh bread baked on-site. When I booked the quadruple room, the hotels.com listing was not accurate. It showed that room as having a private bathroom, which it does not. Luckily, a double/twin room with a private bathroom was available for all four nights I booked. Avishai assigned it to me at no extra charge (and he fixed the listing). It was a great way to start my stay and it remained great.
