"We really enjoyed our stay. The rotating breakfast options were a huge plus, had a great variety each day with plenty of high-carb and healthy choices, which was perfect for our fitness competition. There was also lots of space to sit and eat comfortably. The location was convenient, and we realized it was only a short walk to the busy nightlife. However, it didn’t feel like the safest area to walk back from bars alone or without a larger group. Our room was great, spacious, clean, and we appreciated having a small kitchen with a microwave, sink, and fridge. The only downside was parking. We had to choose between valet or feeding street meters. They were fast to bring car around when we needed it. Other than that, it was a solid stay."

"I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Austin, Texas while attending a real estate conference, and I have to say, it was a fantastic surprise. My expectations were pretty modest—I just needed a place with parking and a bed for the night—but they really went above and beyond. The included hot breakfast was a standout. Not only did they have a wide selection—think eggs, bacon, Danish pastries, oatmeal, and more—but the staff actually brought coffee refills to the table and cleared plates like you’d expect in a sit-down restaurant. It was a level of service I didn’t see coming from a hotel breakfast that I figured would just be grab-and-go. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly, and the concierge was super helpful throughout my stay. Honestly, despite seeing some low online reviews beforehand, this Holiday Inn really exceeded expectations and I’d absolutely stay here again. Five stars all the way!"
