"It’s opposite the Marina and within walking access to the Old town. The train and bus stations are a short walk away. This made the stay convenient. We got a bottle of wine as part of the hotels.com reservation which was great. We went for the half board option expecting a buffet for dinner but instead we had a three course meal which far outweighed the costs of the half board deal. Bed, pillows and room was comfortable. Good bathroom with toiletries. Also got a free bottle of still and sparkling water. Great deal overall!"

"Location is amazing. Close to everywhere. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was bright, airy and clean. Small mould on bathroom ceiling, could be removed with vinegar, bathroom window difficult to open (hence the mold I guess). TV needed tuning, and the cable connection was a bit flaky. Great value, as again the location was just perfect! :)"

"Great location surrounded by bars and restaurants, handy for the transport link. Our room was basic but comfortable and had plenty of space. The shower was nice and powerful. There was a bit of mould in one corner of the bathroom otherwise the space was clean. The communal toilet and kitchen didn’t appear to be cleaned regularly. The owner/manager Filipe was nice but not very responsive to our messages which was sometimes a little unsettling for us. If you need a budget place to stay in the centre of town, this is a great place."
