「Our stay at Shana by the Beach was wonderful! The employees were so kind and helpful. We enjoyed watching the monkeys every day. We walked down to the beach and had a great time. The walk back up wasn’t as great but we have more muscular legs from doing it! 」

「Beautiful place!….quiet, boutique hotel- spotless, new rooms, very comfy bed, welcoming staff, amazing food (breakfast and dinner)- would recommend to anyone coming to the area. You can avoid the crowds in manuel Antonio and stay here and take the $1 bus to manuel Antonio beaches (or taxi $10)」

「Staff was great.. very friendly and helpful. The amenities were wonderful...pool, restaurant, breakfast. The location is marvelous. You can walk to a marvelous beach a few minutes from the hotel.
The rooms are very dated and need "modernization especially the bathrooms...not a good fit for the elderly.
But it's an ideal location and very family friendly.
