We had an evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast - both very nice. We were given a room upgrade and it was more spacious than our previous visit - very comfortable. "Lovely old pub right next to Chelmsford rail and bus stations. Very welcoming bar staff. Rooms are really nicely decorated with tea and coffee making and separate secure access. Really great value and centrally located for all Chelmsford has to offer. "
