As far as beds go in China, this was one of the first to not be too hard or too soft. Could hear people and room service through the door, so traveling with little ones could be noisy during the day. It was quiet at night and slept quite well.
Breakfast is amazing, don't miss it. And the back side of the hotel had an upscale area for eating and shopping right on the water.
The staff are nice and friendly, the location is good for trip, and very close food mall.

Heat did not work in the room (outside temperatures were below freezing)
Being told hot water not available during day hours
It was freezing inside the entire hotel.

Showers were luke warm > Very hard to take cold showers and this is the second time I have had the same experiance
The hotel and staff were wonderful. However our sea view was full of construction and while the room was clean, there were face prints on the windows and smudges on them all all bathroom glass. It needed a more thorough wipe down for sure.

I am spending time in this city over the next period of time, and happy to have found this hotel.
Restaurants are good, hotel rates good, Internet access free, room size - larger than usual.
It is a feel good hotel.

I have shared your feedback with the associates, and as a teachable moment, we have discussed our service standards and reviewed improvement opportunities.
The hotel didn’t provide a lounge or bar for a drink. They turned the lobby area to a banquet site which made the hotel extra noisy. My room is opposite to the staff doorway which they talked so loud that woke me up at 7am or so every morning. Staff are friendly but the services range is not satisfactory: they don’t have ice cube to provide.
this is another wonderful experience stayed with Sheraton hotel , definitely Four Point Sheraton Qingdao will be my next choice when I visit Qingdao again
Das Hotelpersonal spricht leider unzureichend Englisch. Schon beim Check-In gab es Kommunikationsprobleme welche sich durch den gesamten Aufenthalt gezogen haben. Dies ging von der Kaffeebestellung bis hin zur Auskunft über die nähere Umgebung. Das Hotel an sich hat einen hohen Standard für asiatische Verhältnisse, leider weit weg von Lokalitäten und Shops.
