「If you are interested in a rustic experience in a beautiful, family owned quaint hotel on a private farm, this is the place to stay in MonteVerde. The Family runs the hotel and they were the nicest people ever. Very accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area in terms of activities as well as places to eat if you're interested in local cuisine, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visit MonteVerde for a true, local experience. 「We love this spot. Came here pre kid 15 ish years ago and returned with our 9 year old. There is a new building but the vibe is the same. Walkable uphill and downhill to restaurants but certainly stay and try the onsite at Sloth. The food was lovely. 」

「Everything was perfect. The room had everything we expected. Having a washer and dryer was a super bonus. (If they sold individual cleaning pods on site that would have been convenient but we just purchased a small amount of laundry soap at the local Maxi Pali which was just down the road from our location.) Breakfast daily included was amazing. Fantastic food! The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do in Jaco.」

「We (4 adults) enjoyed our stay very much. Finding this hidden treasure off the main road was a little difficult the first time, but we learned the visual landmarks quickly. We felt VERY secure inside the Suites and it was quiet and relaxing. Located in a neighborhood, we had very pleasant interactions with the local residents and frequented the grocery store nearby. David, the Manager, was WONDERFUL with communication and photos showing us where to park, how to gain entrance and get to our rooms...

「Super nice place in a gated community. The pictures didn't do it justice. We had a group of four so it was perfect. Lower level had a laundry room and 2 equal sized bedrooms with bathrooms inside. Each room also had a private patio with amazing views. Upstairs had a 3rd bathroom, full kitchen, dining room, living room. The outdoor covered patio wrapped around the side of the house and has even better views. We sat out there for hours at a time. 」
