"We went for our honeymoon and it was stunning from the moment we arrived! I kept looking for the White Lotus film crew because the property, room, and staff were top notch and we felt like we were in a WL episode. Surreal views, flora, fauna, service and the room with our own private pool remains undefeated! We stayed in a Chato Suite and it was unbelievable. We were welcomed with a personalized sign on the door, welcome drinks, a welcome dessert plate, and a complimentary bottle of wine to celebrate our honeymoon. Service was impeccable, including knowing when we had stepped out and placed a surprise good night dessert in our room on our last night. Thanks to all the staff for their hospitality and friendliness. Pura vida! 100/10."
"Our stay at The Springs Resort & Spa in Arenal was absolutely incredible! From the breathtaking volcano views to the luxurious hot springs, everything exceeded our expectations. The resort is beautifully maintained, the staff is extremely welcoming, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing.
Club Rio was also an amazing experience! We loved the activities, the beautiful surroundings, and how well organized everything was. It truly made our Costa Rica vacation unforgettable.
The only suggestion I would give is to add more vegetarian options to the menu. The food was very good, but having a wider variety of vegetarian dishes would make the experience even better for guests with dietary preferences.
Overall, this resort is truly a paradise and we would love to visit again! "
"We loved our stay at Los Lagos. We stayed 4 nights with no kids. Room was very clean and spacious. Appreciated the clothesline on the deck. The grounds were so lush, green and tropical. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety hot buffet and a fried egg/omelet station.
We enjoyed the hot springs in the afternoon especially in the rain and spent time at the pool bar. Views were fantastic and it was close to town and very easy to use uber to get where we were going. "
"Beautiful property. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Tabacon hot springs access was incredible as well. I would highly recommend this property. Worth every penny."
The Royal Corin Thermal Water Spa & Resort - Adults Only
8/10 Good
"We loved the staff especially Dehbar. The food was spectacular! The pools were ok, not all of them were working. We had an issue with our sliding glass door not locking. We also had an issue with reservations. The person we were speaking with was unreasonable and unaccommodating. We were overcharged double and not refunded. "
"This property is absolutely beautiful and located a short walk from the heart of town. The front desk is extremely helpful and arranging anything you might need including dining reservations and making recommendations for activities in the area. The rooms are beautiful and a view of the valley is breathtaking"
"Fantastic view and pretty good privacy, although wish the owners hadn't let their kids run all over the property. There is a short "nature trail" which is more like a little path that runs right behind the door to the house --- kind of annoying. It's not a great path and it takes away from privacy. In my mind this is a novelty property, not a luxury property. You can see the outside below through the slats in the floor, and the place comes with a can of Raid for any bugs you encounter. We actually had a tarantula in our bedroom upon check-in, which the staff was happy to come take care of. Bugs definitely get on the balcony, so you can't turn outside or hall lights on at night. But if you are ok with getting a stray little beetle out of the hot tub before you fill it, or sweeping a bug off the balcony, then no issues. Just be aware, you're in a rain forest. Think "super nice glamping" more than a luxury stay. They ask that you turn off the A/C if you are leaving for more than 10 mins -- that proved to be too hot, so we didn't completely comply. All that said, the house had the right amenities, nice kitchen, and was pretty comfortable overall. The staff leaves you alone unless you want them to clean the room ... all communication through WhatsApp so no one is knocking on the door at odd hours. It was super convenient to Santa Elena (cute nearby town) as well as Monteverde Cloud Forest. And you definitely cannot beat the view from this place."
