Overall we really liked the resort. We had a great and relaxing time. Pro’s: - buffett breakfast / lunch / dinner - great and tasty selection, clean, not boring. - lots of fruits, vegetables, salads, even green juice mornings - pools - beachfront - activities -there is a kids and a teens club for our children - gym - a lot of animals at the resort - evening shows are very professional we especially liked the circus and the Michael Jackson show! Con’s: - majority of the staff does not speak English, so communication was hard sometimes. - bars next to the pools offer only alcohol or sugary beverages. - parts of the resort would need renovation, - the level of 5 star doesn’t feel like when you look at the room’s quality. - ice cream doesn’t taste good - staff is not friendly, - be very careful with tour and activity booking, theee are sometimes overpriced and you are not always getting what you are paying for.

The workers were generally friendly. The room was not worthy of a 5-star hotel. The pillowcases smelled sweat when I arrived. I asked for them to be changed, but the bed was redone with the same sheets. The beds had no fitted sheets, which made the mattress appear. This is the first time I've noticed this situation in a hotel. The quality of the food was not high enough. The meat was always very salty and rubbery. Desserts and breakfast in general are very good. Two out of four people in my group had stomach problems during the trip. I also recommend booking excursions once in the hotel. When booking with Expedia, communications, changes and cancellations are very difficult to make. The beach and the swimming pools were very beautiful.

Could not find my reservation. Told me that reservation for some reason was under a different name (not true). Checked me into a room that they said was ready. When opened the door, there were other people's suitcases and belongings. Obviously, I got checked into an occupied room. Had to wait for staff to figure out where they can put me, had to go back to reception (which was not close) with my suitcases and have my room key reprogrammed. Overall, total chaos.

Staff were friendly and helpful. A variety of activities were available throughout the day which made it enjoyable even if not participating. Beach was nice but filled with a lot of seaweed on our first day which to be expected but the staff did a great job cleaning it and was cleared the rest of my trip. Traveled with my family/kids. Resort is good but the rooms are bad. Rooms are small, bathroom and toilet doors don’t have locks and very small. For a family this is not an ideal rooms and resort is full of mosquitos. All our hands and legs turned red by the time we returned from the trip. Food menu doesn’t change much. We ate Pretty much same food for all the 4 days and for vegetarians options are limited.

The hotel is beautiful. The grounds are well maintained. The beach is really nice and relaxing. Be there early if you wanna get a free beach chair. The pools are amazing. A lot of things are amazing about this hotel but the things that are not amazing leads me to leave a low star. The towels are just awful. They’re old. They don’t smell clean and then you hardly get them. There’s three towels for three people that’s supposed to last the whole day when you’re at a beach resort - that’s impossible. You’re taking multiple showers and then you have to use musty smelling towels -when you ask for towels they’re reluctant to give it to you, asking if you already have towels. Some of their staff are nice but like with most places like this it’s doesn’t always seem like one gets good service unless you’re giving a good tip or you’re giving indication that you’re going to tip. there’s also people trying to sell you things - packages, excursions - it can be hectic, especially when you’re there to just relax. The meals at the reserved dinners were underwhelming and not filling except El Pilon. Buffet options were mostly not great

Stayed 7 days with friends and family. Loved the 2 bedroom option for traveling with older kids. Recommend getting up early to get chairs on the beach or pool. Breakfast was great- our kiddo has an anaphylactic allergy to dairy and we had NO issues! Lunches were good at either beach buffet or regular buffet Dinner was good at all the specialty restaurants… loved the Brazilian restaurant as you don’t order they keep just brining food to you! Recommend brining extra sunscreen bug spray and feminine supplies as they are expensive to buy on property. Loved the shows and animation team. They put up with A LOT from rude and overly familiar guests… but kept their smiles and we loved them! Daily soccer matches volleyball and activities kept our kiddo busy when he wanted to be. Beach vendors were very nice and respectful. King of the Beach gave us a great deal on parasailing! Great experience! 3 pools kept people spread out - it was a sold out week and at times felt a bit crowded but overall everything was great!!
