Food was sub-par forsure, the same food every night at the buffet. Our reservation was messed up, so we lived out of our luggage for a day and half till a better room was available. Water park was great

Room and staff were very good. Food, pools, and layout good too. Unfortunately there was no children's arcade (site says there is one); nothing for them in children's center, and the app have wrong times for activities; app was not user friendly for restaurant booking (they really want you to use buffet); site indicates many "a la carte" yet few with most an upcharge and others non-bookable, so we couldn't get in. Buffet was good, with hear service but don't ask for eggs over easy.

The room was OK. Not in the best shape. One of the door hinges came off, there was a leak from the shower that would create a puddle by the door of the bathroom. They did accommodate us with a roll away bed that we appreciated. Luis was nice. He was a concierge staff. Very helpful. The kids enjoyed the pool at the Royalton. The water park was nice and fun. The food was not the best. My stomach didn't agree with the food but I just stuck to basic items (burgers, grilled chicken and fries.

The reason I gave 3 stars for the Property condition & facilities is I had to change my room three times the mold smell was horrible but the staff was awesome top tier Elivn Benjamin Yadira YeFrie Johnathan Thomas Jose Angel and Cleyvi if miss anyone I’m sorry but I definitely would come back just see to see them great customer service

We had the best time at Royalton Splash Punta Cana! The waterslides were amazing super fun for both kids and adults, we could’ve spent all day there. The food was delicious with so many choices, and everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling and making sure we had everything. The whole resort was clean, and just a huge party! Honestly, we didn’t want to leave! If you’re looking for a fun, relaxing getaway with great food and service, this is the place. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Excellent service

Our butler Ernesto provided excellent service always attended to our needs and assisted in setting up the restaurants for dinner. We saw him every day and make sure we were alright.

The water park was wonderful for the kids, nice selection of food and staff was great. The property is getting pretty tired, lots of broken tile and the bathroom shower wasn’t ideal but staff fixed issues quickly. The big issue would be the sickness, 3 out of 5 of us got very Ill and are still dealing with the aftermath of it. Even being careful we got incredibly sick so keep that in mind when booking. Amarlys was a fantastic butler, she helped us with transportation issues and general bookings around the resort. Overall It was a fun experience but with how sick we are I’m not sure I would go back.

Before you decide to stay here, know this. Bottled water is extremely hard to find. When dining or poolside the staff is not allowed to get you bottled water. The resort now has a purified water system that they expect you to drink from. It has a highly salty taste to it. This also reflects on the bad coffee that they serve you as well. They say that you should not drink the tap water in Punta Cana because you will get sick. The resort expects you to trust them and drink the new supposedly purified salty water. No thank you! You can drink all the beer, cocktails, soda, etc but bottled water is out of the picture except what they bring to your room or make you go find during the day to stay hydrated. We also stayed here to enjoy the water park but the electricity powering the park kept going out every 5-10 minutes shutting everything down. VERY DISAPPOINTED in our 4 day stay. My recommendation is to find a different resort to stay at.

Loved that punta Cana splash is an all inclusive with great entertainment for the kids near to the airport Disliked that the the majority of staff are not hospitable for working in an industry where you are supposed to be friendly. They didn’t care. Check in was a disaster. I commented previously that guests should be called when room ready and not have to wait in a line every time we needed to check on room status. Room near the nightly entertainment so I was kept awake after 10:30 every night. The room is worn especially the bathroom. Water park closed for a day. No signage that it would be unavailable that day. Overall it was a sunny vacation. But I would not be returning to this property

We had a wonderful vacation, and the vast majority of it, was thanks to our Butler, Ernesto! He also, really went above and beyond to help my daughter's 21st birthday, special and memorable. Any reservations for dinner, recommendations for excursions, and anything in the welcome Diamond Package the hotel left out, he made sure we did receive. Ernesto had the best customer service experience one could offer. Very prompt with response and professional. Going into the buffet, the female staff at the front desk would argue our clothes were wet, even though they weren't, they said I couldn't enter with a red halter top swim piece and a high waisted red skirt cover up. Although it's a beach look that's appropriate for a buffet AT THE BEACH. The food itself was always the same IF, it was open and there was actually food in the trays and not empty. The Bella Cucina was the absolute worst, just don't go there. The Teppanyaki was the absolute best though!!! We actually went twice!! So fun and food was delicious!! If it wasn't for Ernesto, I probably would've rated the overall experience lower. A lot of the staff were really rude and unhappy looking. I would highly suggest stay at the sister resort on the same property, not Splash. Splash was so amazing for the water park though!! Our girls 13 and 11, and even us adults had so much fun!! No alcohol served in there, but it was definitely fun!! Overall one and done, but again thanks to Ernesto, we had a wonderful time!!

Staff was all either amazing or worthless, I don't think there was anyone we interacted with that was in between. In general the cleaning staff, bartenders, and concierges were incredible and the wait staff was terrible, but there were exceptions to all of those. The pools were well maintained as well as the bars. The room water ranged from clear to "are you sure you flushed?". Regular (about every other day) power outages. Sunscreen was $37-50 US. I expect and am fine with some amount of price gouging for the convenience of not leaving the property, but that exceeds what I am willing to tolerate. We also had more than one incident of being charged the wrong amount or wrong conversion rate "accidentally". The shop staff didn't realize that we understood them talking and know it wasn't accidental. The entertainment was actually entertaining and the dancers/circus performers were amazing. Food ranged from good to inedible. In the same meal at the seafood restaurant I had wonderful octopus as an appetizer but then when I also has octopus as part of my entree it was so tough I didn't think I'd be able to chew it enough to swallow. The food in the buffet was typical buffet food, overcooked and not kept at proper temperatures. The Italian and Mexican restaurants we ate at were good, except for the steak at the Italian place. We didn't do the steak restaurant because the steak was so poorly cooked any time someone ordered one at another restaurant that we didn't want to chance it.

Over all it was a great vacation. We attended a wedding at the Royalton ( resort right at the ocean). The beach was amazing but it definitely is a walk away.. The water slides were amazing to say the least! They were for sure a highlight to our vacation. We had the pleasure of dinning at Jade (great food and amazing service!!) we did have some troubles securing an A LA CART online... I recommend getting a butler so you don't have to worry about getting into a restaurant. The buffet was decent.. Seems silly but its kinda hard to find coffe cups and to simply get a glass of water during the day time. Dinner at the buffet was great and we have no complaints there. The entertainment staff was AWESOME!! Shout out to *Black Coffee* his nickname not ours lol.. JEFFFF loved every minute of it! ***We hope you still have his sticker!!*** Foam party was a HIT, unfortunately it did rain half way through... I would recommend the staff to tell their guest to stay off the platform to insure that the foam makes it into the pool... Get some leaf blowers out there to move the foam around so the others in the back can also enjoy the party without having to be in the thick of it.. For the rooms with walk out levels to the main pools.. some lawn chairs would be great! The main pools definitely need MORE UMBRELLAS. 2 per chair if I'm being honest.. The sun is STRONG and a little shade if needed would go a long way so you don't have to leave and go to your room.
