A lot of pools, not crowded, lots of beach seating and very friendly staff. Our butler Miguel handled our dinner reservations and ensured we had anything we needed. Looking forward to coming back!

Hotel & pools are beautiful. Most staff very nice. Michael Jackson show & spa were amazing! We stayed in late june & beach was full of seaweed. Had we researched this, we would not have went. Every day they rake the seeweed into piles, then push them back into the ocean. The smell was horrible, like rotten fish. We paid to go to Sanoa island & Macao beach which were nicer. The worst part of the hotel is the dining situation which the staff really dont care about. We had a room w/4 people & we traveled w/family in another room of 4. We NEVER got to eat dinner together. You must have cell service bc everyday no matter if your snorkeling, diving, riding a horse, whatever..you must stop & get on your phone at 5pm to book your dinner for the next day. Diamond members get first bookings, hideaway guests (which was us) get 2nd opportunities & we almost always only had options to eat at 9 or 945pm. We begged to be able to eat w/the rest of our family to no avail. HOWEVER the restaurant would ALWAYS have many open tables of 4 or 8! our family absolutely could have ate together! I took pics of all the open tables yet was told repeatedly they could not allow the other 4 people to dine in the same restaurant with us. They have all kinds of people trying to sell you excursions or sign u up for rewards but no one to help book your dinners for the week. I think they prefer everyone to go to buffet. I thought it would be easier ro eat at the 11 rest. They advertise. Aruba & cancun better

Impossible to get any dinner reservations the whole 5 days despite it being an all inclusive resort. The reservations were saved for the guests that were “diamond” and no others were able to get dinner reservations at all. Wry frustrated to pay for an all inclusive resort and not get to dine at any of the restaurants and have to eat the buffet every night for dinner .

El lugar está bastante limpio e igual las habitaciones. Los costos de las tiendas están bastante altos. Hace falta un poco de más actividad en las pisicinas.

The reason why I am giving the hotel two stars is because my husband and I paid for a romantic dinner that we had horrible experience and service, all we got was a salad and a bottle of why after forty minutes of waiting and we left after another forty minutes because we did not get anything else. I spoke to management to receive a refund and nothing has been done about it. Aside from the experience the hotel is clean, the people are very nice, the beach is beautiful. There are a variety of restaurants and cuisines. The water park and escape room (which is an extra cost) were a lot of fun. There is also a souvenir store right outside the hotel property. One of the downsides is that the mini bar in the room does not get refilled.

I had a great stay at Hideaway. The staff made us feel very welcomed and did everything to make sure we were comfortable. There is so many activities to do everyday so you will never get bored. A lot of people have complained how Hideaway is a small area for adults only whereas Royalton itself is for family - I didn’t find this to be an issue. In fact, I think the fact that there were families staying here made it more fun, considering the amount of events that are available for all ages. All in all, this is the best resort I have stayed it. Special shout out to Vibes Team, the housekeeping and front desk staff for being excellent!!

The staff was not nearly as attentive as I would’ve expected for a 5 star resort! No bellboy to help with bags, lack luster bus boys were just part of it.

“Other than the butler, who did an excellent job, the rest of the staff could benefit from better training. We also noticed some suspicious individuals who didn’t seem to belong at the resort. If it weren’t for our amazing group of friends who laughed through it all, the experience wouldn’t have been as enjoyable. The room had issues too — the shower flooded the floor each time we used it, but we made the best of it. Overall, the experience could have been better.”

The resort felt overcrowded and the food wasn’t very good. Everyone claims the lounge chairs with towels early in the morning which hogs them all up.
