"Budget hotel with luxury rates. Hardest pillows that I have ever experienced at any hotel in the world. Asked at reception, but no softer ones available. Room on roundabout could hear cars all night and see headlights. Shower blocked and flooded. Bed.too firm. Mediocre breakfast. All in all a total rip-off."

"We had booked a weekend stay but didn’t check in until about 11pm on the first night. Got to our room which was quite spacious but as soon as we opened the bathroom door, the smell of mould was extremely overwhelming. There was a window that couldn’t be opened and mould spores all over the ceiling and around the shower. Turning the tap on only made the smell worse and the only way to keep the smell contained was to keep the door closed. We had requested another room the next day but this wasn’t accommodated due to the hotel being fully booked, but someone was sent to the room to do a temporary ‘freshen up’ which didn’t last long before the smell of mould reappeared. We finally managed to get a new room the next day which was alot smaller but the bathroom was fine, although as soon as you step out of the lift on the 7th floor, again there was an overwhelming smell of mould. Overall, the lobby to the hotel is gorgeous but the rooms, corridors and carpets need some serious TLC. Wouldn’t stay here again until the current issues are addressed."
