The resort is top notch. Wife & I enjoyed our stay and we would return in the future. The only buzz kill was after checking in. The lady pointed to towards another lady that said would assist us moving forward and offered us a drink. Afyer that, annyoying as heck, as they kept trying to do tje whole sales pitch to upgrade and do all inclusive etc. Bit annoying but after getting thru that and letting them know that we plan on exploring the town and eating where the locals eat, we were good. Staff was very friendly and professional. The all inclusive package carries many activities, like wine testing class and dance lessons. If you order food near the pool, do not get the pizza or the hamburger. Order the buffalo hot wings, nachos, guacamole, or quesadillas. We’ll definitely be revisiting.

I don't know how they're a part of such a prestigious organisation (Marriot). Terrible service overall, complacent staff and non-existent hospitality culture with greed for tips and no actual service. Never going back here. Also be careful of the ladies near the reception, masquerading as hotel employees, trying to hard sell you a bunch of useless services and wasting your time.
