Had an ocean view room in the tower building which was excellent. Nice beach and good access for walks along. Staff was excellent. A special shout out for Victor and Danni. The food at this resort needs help. Especially the buffet at dinner time. Very repetitive. Breakfast was always good. Been at this resort 4 times. The good out weighs the bad.

We enjoyed our stay and found the food very good. The beach was lovely, our room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the staff especially Saul who was the restaurant Capitan. He was helpful, friendly and always greeted us with a smile! The location is handy - halfway between Malecón and the airport- easy to get around and great walks along the beach. We had a kitchenette- well stocked but we enjoyed the food so we didn’t need it really. The one thing that could use improvement- the daytime staff on the front desk was not welcoming, helpful, or pleasant. Training in customer relations would be a good idea.

First time at this resort, came with a friend for one week. The staff is amazing. Bartender Rodrigo up in the Sky Lounge went up and above with his service. Our room was clean and comfortable, but we did not get any hot water the entire week. The dinner buffet could have offered more choices, it was the same everyday. I would not stay here again, but it was a good experience overall.

There was a persistent mildew odour in the room, the bathroom fixtures were well past their ‘best by’ date. The resort wifi was spotty and non-existent in the rooms. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and worked very hard to maintain the facility in a clean state. The food was good, and their special meals were very nice. They had entertainment offered most evenings. The resort activity director was a very outgoing person who was able to motivate people into joining the activities. The sky lounge was a lovely space to spend time around sunset, and the staff up there were very friendly and attentive. The resort was smaller, which was actually a bonus, as you didn’t feel lost in the crowds. It was located near to downtown, so it was easy to explore the area.

This is not a 5 star resort, but, all the staff treat you as a 5 star guest. The staff from the front desk when you first arrive, the doning crew, all the bar staff, pool and Sky Bar, cleaning, housekeeping, gardener. Hope I didn't miss anyone, as every single person went out of their way to make it an exceptional vacation. Thank you.

Each room we had reserved had its own quirks. Hotel needs major upgrading. Affordable for what you get. Staff and service was amazing. Spa treatment was amazing. Pool bar closed at 9 which then left the skylounge where no children under 18 were permitted. We were in there one evening and saw 3 children under age of 10. Then we tried to take our child and we were kicked out. Different rules for different people. It was an all round amazing experience and great vacation!

A plus -Restaurant staff were fantastic! Negatives…. The pool was disgustingly dirty-we didn’t swim after the first day Our room the toilet was leaking and smelled like mold. We switched to a different room. Still mildew smelling but not as strong. Front end staff were grumpy and unwelcoming All in all the hotel is run down. Looks like the plan is to tear it down and make it part of time share which they try and sign you onto right away. We will not return to this hotel

For being a low budget resort it was not bad at all. Customer Service was great. Food was good, waiters were excellent! Pool was a bit crowded but good. Rooms, this is where the hotel fell short. A/C was not working at its potential. No mini fridge to at least to keep your beverages cold. Rooms outdated for sure, needs TLC. I did manage to see a couple riches the first night. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again if rooms at least had a mini fridge.
