Buena zona, personal amable, limpio pero las habitaciónes dejan mucho que desear, si van mas de una persona asegurate de traer contigo un extension electrica porque solo hay un tomacorrientes en la habitación con un solo Conector. Los muebles estan muy deteriorados y viejos. la verdad que no guarde mis cosas en la gabineta por miedo a que se quebrara. se ve muy lindo y fotos pero es poco espacioso y no se aprecian los detalles que mencione.

This small little boutique hotel is wonderful the staff at the front desk and everywhere go beyond belief. We enjoyed our stay so much the breakfast was excellent. Cannot begin to say enough about how we enjoyed our stay..

Absolutely terrible. Our sheets had sweat/blood stains even asking for new ones. The wifi never worked, didn’t receive any of my Expedia upgrades and even the elevator busted the last day. Left early for another place.

And although, the property in general is okay. There are things management need to address. It certainly needs lots of updating. TVs, Acs, bedding, pillows; etc. My tv was so old that we couldn’t watch tv, ac started dripping water so we had to shut it off. Thank god it was the last day. The bathroom shower door has a gap that leaks water through it. My partner almost fell because he didn’t see water on the floor after showering. I did complaint to the front desk. The room light was too dimmed(dark) We had too use our phone flashlight to look for things around. Also, brought to their attention. Overall, I give them 2.5 ⭐️. And to make matter worst they charged us an additional $100 pesos to stay an additional hour after regular check out time. No problem with the charge; but we figured since we had various complaints; they at list we let stay a bit longer since our return flight to the states was later in the day.

My opinion it’s a great place for a short stay. It’s nice but I don’t find the staff very helpful. It took almost a week for our tv to be fixed and quite often our room smelled like sewer for a few hours during the day. We ran the shower for a while as that seemed to be where the smell was coming from. Room was fairly clean and modern. Great location.

We were initially dissapointed as the room was so SMALL - smaller than an inside cabin on a cruise ship and that is saying something. We are 2 ladies travelling together so need twin beds and the first room we had, 307, barely had room for our suitcases. And had a musty smell because the only window was a small window that opened in to the hallway! We did complain and the next morning Monica the assistant manager switched us to 313 which was still a small twin room but at least it had a glass patio door and window that let in light. And there was a small window in the bathroom for extra ventilation. The small twin room, 307, is more suitable for a single traveller or maybe a couple who are travelling light and just need a room for one night. The Hotel is very clean and well maintained, with attentive staff, and so convenient, being just a block up from the water and just a few blocks from the Malecon. There are lots of restaurants, food stands and bars right out the door but it is a noisy neigbourhood. Which didn't bother us but a light sleeper might ask to be on the water side of the building. The breakfast - which is included - had both hot and cold options so that was a nice feature of the hotel. The 4th floor patio is a nice place to hang out during the heat of the day. I would stay here again. But bring your own facecloth as they are not generally supplied in Mexico.

We have been staying at Portonovo for quite a few years and have always enjoyed the area. The hotel was newly renovated a number of years ago and things are starting to need upkeep. The room keys seldom worked so this meant heading to the main desk for updating. The gym is no longer in service. Many of the lights in the room did not work and the fan was unusable. On the positive side, the breakfast and the staff there were really good. Checking in was quick and easy while the cleaning staff were very good.

The room was terrible!!! The toilet not properly cleaned, light fixture over bathroom sink rusted and no cover. There was missing tiles around shower faucet with only insulation showing, hole in shower wall and a rusty bolt protruding from the wall. The bathroom door needs to be cleaned. Closet door has corners missing. Overall, this hotel needs a major overhaul. It is too bad as it is very convenient. If the price was cheaper, I would understand the condition. But when you are paying $150.00 per night, it isn't worth it. They don't supply kleenex, plastic glasses, or even ice. Definitely not a place I would be inclined to rent.

Clean hotel in a good, accessible zone. Rooms are small but clean. Personnel is very nice, limited english. Rooms towards the ocean side are more quiet. Breakfast is good, nutritious with plenty of fruits, scrambled eggs, beans and various other dishes. Very nice ladies servers. Coffee is weak but Starbucks is 2 blocks away. Ocean is just a block away and in the morning there is shade, you don’t need to rent umbrellas. Pool is small but decent, and the water is warm. Wifi doesn't work in the rooms but in the lobby is ok.

It is in a great location staff is absolutely great especially Monica, Luis, busboy access to everything! Breakfast was good need more and newer tables and chairs some were broken and still in eating area. Some furniture was outdated and need repair our nightstand drawers could not close. There was black crud around shower stall. Things that could be overlooked but gross. Overall it was ok their employees are the best

I did not stay at the hotel . Just got a different hotel . Room was extremely noisy due to the busy street. . They had rooms but refused to change . Also they wanted me to wear a pink wrist band to go in and out of hotel 24/7 . Told me they will not return any money . And I can go to a deferent hotel . I called Expedia but of course no one answered the phone . I just left and got a different hotel through booking. Com . For 10-20 $ extra one can get a much better place . Will not recommend .

WiFi not working and the TV remote not operable. The elevatorNOT working! Room was VERY TINY considering the rate of pay for the night. Reception staff took forever to check me in (allegedly their computer system not working). There were 3 other guests came to complain about the WiFi and elevators not working while I was checking in.

The hotel is close to the Malecon and you can walk everywhere. The pool not so great, all cement and 3 lounge chairs. The restaurant offers a buffet breakfast but closes at noon so hard to get water or anything to snack, no ice. I had to buy my own water to drink.

False advertizing SAID SOUND PROOF WINDOWS WHAT ABOUT THE GLASS DOOR ? no sleep .Shower did not work ....only if you like CoLD water would not turn to the left as instructed Valentines day with no shower! TV was dark then darker then suddenly light . I COULD ONLY GET THE INTERNET IN THE NIGHT BUT GUESS I NEEDED SoMETHING TO DO at 3 in the morning Never stay there again

The reason I gave a one star for cleanliness is we had bed bug the first week we realized that it was that. The room looked clean and we got it cleaned every day. But when we realised we were full of bug bits we asked to change room and they found us one the next day. We will not be back sorry just bad luck I guess.

Beds are great, really comfortable. Breakfast was good and a good variety. The service staff were excellent. We had some confusion at check-in and our room wasn't ready on time, they said 10 minutes so we stood in the lobby with our children for 15 minutes and then they said another hour, which was a little frustrating after a long flight. Overall would absolutely stay there again!

Our room had no toilet paper and had a faint sewer smell. Our friends room, the key wouldnt work as the battery was dead in the door. They had to get a special staff member to let them into their room every time they left. Long wait sometimes. Rooftop pool, so looking forward to that, was closed for maintenence! Was not worth the high price.

Not our first time staying here, but needed to change rooms because bathroom floor was flooded and closet door wouldn't open or close in the first room. The move was done fast and efficiently. Breakfast the first morning didn't have everything but second morning was ok. Staff overall, were very helpful and friendly.
