We stayed for two nights in Feb, 2025. Very good stay, recommended for a nice central location, easy access to busses, and lots of street food, and restaurants. The breakfast was also very good, hot food, and coffee, we sat outside and enjoyed the morning sun while we ate. Staff were all very attentive to anything we needed.

We appreciated the breakfast offered as a part of the price. The room was more than pleasant enough although the lighting could have been considerably enhanced. We also liked the area as it was close to stores, restaurants and the Malecon.

Location was good. Had numerous problems including: -elevator did not work for 5 of ten day stay, -no safe in first room which we changed because - of its smallness for two people -mould smell in second room -pool was not used because the deck area was not conducive for relaxing on.

I loved the location and how friendly the staff was, The breakfast was nothing special but enjoyable. Great area close to restaurants and shopping as well as the beach . Unfortunately the elevator is in need of repair and as not been working for a few days. This was not a problem as we were only one floor up. But may be a problem for older folks on higher floors

They are 5 storys high with no elevator. Claiming stairs without hand rails was unsafe and exhausting. Shower had now water pressure and had to call maintenance. The bed only had a sheet no blanket or comforter. I wouldn't recommend

Comfortable beds. Helpful staff but most didnt speK much English. Good location central to shopping, resturants and close to beach. Rooms on street side of hotel are extremely noisy due to busy road traffic. We requested a move and staff honoured our request and moved us to ocean side of hotel. No views on either side of hotel.. Pool is a bit small and in need of repair. Safe in our room eas broken. We were promised a replacement which didnt happen but we checked out next day so we just put up with it.

Nice break from the northern cold

Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Asked for a quiet room. First night we were given a room in the front side of the hotel. It was too noisy for us from traffic, very early in the morning. Changed to a room in the back (ocean side) for the rest of our stay. Quiet and pleasant. Beds in both rooms were comfortable. Air condition was good but created a musty odor. Shower stall was big but the placement of the shower head (in both rooms was located beside a corner beam) made it feel tight. Breakfast buffet was good, fresh fruit and eggs, juice, yogurt, sides. Coffee was not available prior to restaurant open hours. Bottled water was provided for the first day only. The hotel is located 3 blocks from Malecon, close for nice walks and far from the blaring music of the bars. There are various restaurants and coffee shops in the area, research the travel blogs to find one that fits your taste and budget. Mcds and Starbucks for coffee and ice cream for the boardwalk stroll. Clean attended washrooms (10 pesos) available. We did not have a car, walked the area. The bus system is good, but needs some knowledge in order to be used effectively.
