There are very few restaurants to choose from. On the first day we arrived, we only had a buffet, and it was super invincible terrible. All other restaurants need to make an appointment and we are Expedia customers so there is no room service for us. I can't order food to my room. There are only two bottles of water in the room, no refrigerator, no other soda and beer are even more impossible. Anyway We won't come back again

I had never been to an all inclusive where you were not allowed to drink by the pool! We had to purchase cups in order to have our drinks by the pool. The young bartender at the pool is very very rude. I did make a complain. The resort itself was nice, near the Malecon, and the staff outside the main entrance were very friendly. Also, checkout was very unorganized! They took us to a back room, were training someone new, so it took extra long to be able to checkout, plus that staff was not friendly either. The restaurant inside the resort were very nice, as well as the staff. We were able to eat at the Mexican and Italian restaurant. Delicious food!

Canto is an older resort. Check in process could be better. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly! Our AC was under repair and ran the whole time we were there, so our room was cold, which wasn’t an issue. The food was delicious with great variety. There were many activities scheduled each day and the pool entertainment was really fun! Beds were hard, but they furnished a foam mattress that helped a lot. Overall a great visit, I would book this all inclusive resort again.

Las instalaciones son de un 4 estrellas, la atención del personal es de un 3 estrellas orientado a dar atención 5 estrellas únicamente a los extranjeros. La comida no es mala, pero algunos alimentos no estaban de buen sabor/sazón/ cocción. Deberían especificar el dress code desde la página del hotel. Si es un hotel bastante familiar. La habitación estuvo excelente. Las camaristas son súper buena onda.

You get what you pay for! We chose this hotel for the price given the good reviews and it was a great decision! My kids loved the pool and enjoyed the activities and shows. We ate really well, good service. The room was old but clean, same as everything else on this property.

We noticed the service and cleanliness of the room had declined substantially from last year. Its a shame as we enjoyed ourselves so much last year. We didn't have towels or soap in our room, items were not restocked when the room was cleaned, shower did not drain and was not fixed (we had to unclog it ourselves), and our room was full of small flies for the duration of the stay. The food remained the same and was good for an all inclusive. Pool area and public restrooms were clean.

We had ages from 3 to 87 that stayed here and it was great for everyone! The event director Alivaro (I think his name was but we called him Bruno Mars) was fantastic. We will be returning!

Room was ok, bathroom not so good, looked dirty to me when we got the room. Dark stains everywhere. Besides the bathroom everything was good. Friendly staff. Good food, and property was clean. Family friendly resort, happy with my stay On another note, I booked with the idea that the hotel was “ all inclusive” however we were given two “coupons” that gave us access to TWO exclusive restaurants; my stay for 4 days. The Asian restaurant was okay, mar y Tierra was delicious and came with a stunning view BUT I was declined a soup and salad. The waiter made me choose one or the other. So much for all inclusive.

This resort met my expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good, the place was clean. Wifi worked, there was always hot water. The pools are nice too and the beach access is great. My only word of caution is to watch your drinks very carefully, someone was slipping drugs into drinks.

The beach is very steep, swimming is not an option usually due to red flag warnings. The food is very good. There are several restaurants lusted, but the reaort only lets you book so many reservations at the a la carte restaurants. This is not explained on the hotel description any where i could find. Most of the staff was exceptionally friendly. Its centrally located which is nice for getring around.lots of kids, lots of retired people. The wifi wasnt great, but it was free. Room was clean, my only complaint there was the maid came in even when i had a do not disturb sign on the door.

Muy bien lugar agusto, la comida, el show y el personal. Solo que no tiene estacionamiento y se tiene que pagar por hora aunque el hotel ayuda con el 50% y el aire acondicionado mi habitación no se podía regular. Pero en general nos gusto mucho el hotel. Si regresamos el próximo año.

I stay in PV every 5 months or so. Never have I stayed at a resort as rundown as this one. Though the pool area was immaculate (cannot drink in pool unless you bring your own cup with lid). The rest of the resort needs much improvement WE moved resorts after 2 nights on my own dime as they were no help at Front Desk 1) No hot water in shower for 2 days , another patron told me theirs was scalding hot and could not cool it down 2) so many fruit flies in room , when we went to front desk did not get any assistance. Asked to change rooms and they were just as bad , they were coming out of the sink and shower drains 3) no fridges in room 4) food at buffet was ineatible , limited choices and cold 5) none of the reg drinks were available like other resorts , very limited and some on the board they couldn’t make as they were out of ingredients 6) My duvet cover had Stains on it so unsure about rest of bedding This resort should charge a lot less in comparison to others based on wha others offer for same price

This was my second time staying here. Staff are wonderful, always helpful when needed. Good food. Rooms a bit dated but clean. Enjoyed two of the pools. Didn’t spend anytime at kids pool as no kids with me. Great location. Would book here again.

Let's start with the check in. It took us close to an hour to check in (they had me in one line then moved me to another line that was not for check in and then placed me back in the original line making me lose my place due to new comers being in line) and the girl that did our check in seemed to have an attitude, went through explanation of activities EXTREMELY fast and was basically no help at all. The rooms were well kept and clean with a nice view to the main area. The queen size been barely fit my wife and I. I'm certain it was a full and not queen. Another issue you should all be prepared for: WATER PRESSURE. There's virtually no water pressure at all and we were left basically showering with driping showers. The food was above average with a wide variety and the waiters were very attentive (except one lady that basically acted like we were forcing her to be there serving us - but she was at the ceviche restaurant on location). Also, quality/ taste for drinks will vary depending on which bar you get your drink from. I ordered a margarita at the main pool bar and it literally tasted like it was mixed with rubbing alcohol. I couldn't drink it at all. But the drinks at the villas pool bar were excellent. Night and day difference. Pools and activities are great. You have 3 pools to choose from and direct access to the beach. Overall, I think this place has needs major upgrades and can be incredible if done.
