A working man's pub but good. Quite a few stairs to rooms. Kitchen and balcony good. Can be noisy at times but not a problem. Friday meat raffle good. Thank you for giving me small lamp. Internet was discontinued before my stay ended.

Somewhere to sleep and shower 😁

Cheap, but wouldn’t necessarily say cheerful. I didn’t feel particularly welcomed by staff but still managed to have a fun time staying in prosperine regardless. Room was very large, with a comfortable bed, shared bathroom with one shower - it did the job. There was a basin in the room but with a sign on it saying do not use. We’ve stayed in similarly priced properties on our trip that have their own bathrooms, but like I wrote this does the job, it’s just somewhere to sleep and shower. Was clean for me and the history behind the hotel is pretty interesting, I enjoyed reading about this in the information folder left in the room. Also free wifi and decent wifi at that.
