However, in our room we were missing a bath towel, tissues and the cups in the bathroom had liquid in them which was not water. We asked for a bath towel and I saw the clerk get one from a laundry basket. When he gave it to us it was damp and appeared dirty. "This chateau is not a special place apart for the garden. The rooms are big but not very nice, so is the bathroom. There is no shower, only hand shower. The amenities are very poor. "It's a bit off the beaten track. It's a very old farmhouse, but the room I stayed in was very nice. The host was very pleasant. When I arrived, there was no one there, but I had booked late, and the host didn't expect to have a guest. But he arrived soon after I did. They make their own jellies and jams from fruits from their own garden. Quite good. Very nice quiet area. "
