location is the only thing I like

location is the only thing I am happy with. stayed in BOLOGNA for two nights, and I have changed 3 rooms. first one, opposite to the lift, too noisy, cud get rest till mid night, them awake by the noise at 7 in the morning. second room is located at 5th floor, quiet but broken bed....I nearly fell over and get hurt！！！finally, I stayed in an apartment style room which is located at ground floor. again....can't get rest till mid night, and wake up by the rubbish truck and road work around 7. sigh！

We were very happy with our stay at Hotel Bologna while visiting for Christmas. The location was ideal, a short walk from the Old Town Square or Charles Bridge and not far from a metro. The roads around it are small but we felt perfectly safe even late at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we were welcomed with a small mulled wine which was a lovely touch. The room was a good size with a comfy bed and ample storage space with a good wardrobe and lots of drawers, and a small safe for your passport etc. Nice and quiet and comfortable and we slept well. Fab shower! We appreciated the little kitchenette area too with the fridge. Breakfast was excellent. Two of our days we arrived after 10 but there was still plenty of choice. Cereals, fruit, delicious pastries as well as hot food such as scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon etc which was very good. My husband loved the hot chocolate and my favourite was the apple filled lattice pastries! Our last day we went at a busier time but no problem getting a table. We can also recommend the little burger bistro next door to the hotel, excellent burgers! We were very happy with our choice as it was good value and we would stay here again if we returned to Prague.

This is a lovely hotel very close to all attractions and easy for exploring, rooms are very comfortable and clean and staff were friendly the breakfast is amazing plenty to choose from and all presented well we will definitely be staying there again

Sono arrivata all’hotel Bologna con aspettative normali e sono ripartita con un forte senso di delusione. Ho pagato la prenotazione più di due mesi prima dell’arrivo e, nonostante questo, mi è stata assegnata una stanza molto piccola. Una persona che aveva prenotato nello stesso periodo, ma pagando direttamente in hotel, ha ricevuto una stanza molto più grande e migliore. È difficile da capire e da considerare corretto. Ho l’impressione che il pagamento anticipato in questo hotel non sia affatto un vantaggio. Un altro problema riguarda il personale. Lo staff non parla italiano, il che rende la comunicazione molto difficile. Ogni volta che si esce dall’hotel è necessario lasciare le chiavi alla reception e, al rientro, bisogna fare la fila insieme agli ospiti che stanno effettuando il check-in. Anche per il semplice ritiro delle chiavi l’attesa è lunga, perché le procedure sono lente e la comunicazione richiede molto tempo. Dopo una giornata di viaggio o di visite, si vorrebbe solo entrare in camera e riposare, ma qui spesso serve molta pazienza. Purtroppo questo soggiorno non mi ha convinta e non ho intenzione di tornare.

L’accueil est très agréable. La chambre et la salle de bains sont grandes et très propres. Le buffet du petit déjeuner au top! Seul bémol mais qui ne vient pas de l’hôtel: le bruit dans la rue qui est gênant la nuit.

The staff were incredibly helpful, breakfast was consistently delicious, and the room was perfect for our needs. The only suggestion would be to make sure both breakfast rooms had the same food offerings. Over easy eggs and heart waffles were only available in the restaurant side and since you were directed where to sit, you didn’t have the full options. But this is a small suggestion and we had an amazing experience. The location was perfect for access to all the sights but slightly removed for quieter streets. We would stay here again!

It was a huge, traditional and classic hotel with so many group visitors. That was the only downside - we felt it was too busy. But hotel itself was great in general and located at the center of everything - near the Charles bridge, restaurants, sovenir shops, and the landmark Prazsky Orioj (that plaza was the real center of Prague for the visitors). We had a rental car and reserved a parking spot. It is critical to reserve parking lot when you book (Parking was valet, easy, and 25 euro but the ground level parking is limited.). We needed to park at the National theater nearby (7 min easy walk, spacious, public parking) as we did not get a hotel parking spot for the first night. That parking may be the best for anyone who need to park in the Prague center. Hourly fare was not expensive. Our hotel room (family, 5) had 2 rooms and a small kitchen with total two king beds and one single bed. So it was spacious and comfortable. I recommend it for family. Breakfast was good and included.

Our room was clean and plenty of room for luggage and a stroller. Mini fridge was cold enough to keep milk cool through the night. The AC worked well when needed during the day. The included breakfast was great, enough options for my family, including a toddler. Staff were constantly replenishing items and cleaning. Staff was very accommodating and nice. We would definitely return again.
