"Staying here for 2 nights was wonderful. Wish we had the time to stay longer. Host Michel is a delight. He is an excellent chef and so interesting to talk to. We had 2 tasty breakfasts and a wonderful dinner using delicious local ingredients. He made our adult daughter's day when he had her help lead two of his beautiful horses from the pen to the stables. He also suggested we visit the nearby old village of Flavigny where we enjoyed visiting the former abbey where the famous anis bon bone are made. The property is beautiful and we liked walking around in the fresh springtime air. We had clear weather and could see so many stars at night. With 3 adults, we were very comfortable in the top floor room for 4. It was nice sitting up in the common area and watching the sunset through the skylights."

"It was a stop half way between the north and the south, we wanted to try somewhere new. It is completely basic, hence the price, but just off the motorway, easy to get to. Easy check-in, rooms clean. The shower wasn’t great but otherwise all good. The tv wasn’t plugged in for some reason and it took two of us to plug it in as it was very awkward. We had breakfast and it was decent, the lady working it was very nice. The actual village is absolutely stunning, very picturesque. All in all, a good stay"

"Place is in a sorry condition, as soon as you hit the stairs you notice a weird stench, the building is old, I can hear the neighbors every time they walk around or flush the toilet. Not sure what was happening during my stay but there were doors being slammed repeatedly all afternoon. However, the place is equipped to accommodate cyclists and their bikes in the form of a dedicated secure storage space. For the price I would have expected the room to be better equipped and the place to be better maintained "
