"The pool was not available and I received no laundry service and it was difficult to reach a staff member when I needed some help. If you go out of your room on the morning before the 11:00 am checkout to go to the store or somewhere else and come back to your room, your room key doesn't work anymore so I had to go to the front desk and have them re-code the key to get in my room. "

"My stay at the The Inn at Four Eleven York was everything I wanted in a solo getaway and more. It’s such a cute, cozy B&B with major Gilmore Girls vibes, but elevated. The whole place feels calm, intentional, and just a little indulgent in the best way. The staff were incredibly friendly, and being on a text chain for anything I needed made everything feel easy and personal. The room itself was stunning. Everything felt luxurious without being over the top. The bedding was so comfortable, and the bathroom felt like a spa. Heated floors, tons of space, and a bathtub with a fireplace made it feel truly special. It was one of those places where you actually look forward to coming back to your room. Turndown service was such a nice touch, and the restaurant next door was delicious. The only small downside for me was the bar cart drink selection, which just wasn’t my taste. Also, the scent of the inn deserves its own mention. It smells incredible. I even bought the spray and now I ration it like it’s gold because I want it to last forever. I left feeling more relaxed than I have in a long time. I have a long list of places I want to visit, but this might have to become a yearly trip."

"Nicely located across the street from charming Olde Towne Portsmouth. My first visit, a few days before, was blighted by the noise of squalling kids through a locked common door. I complained, and the mistake was not repeated when I returned. "

"Front desk girl…fantastic! Ain’t peeling off wooden bathroom counter…unsanitary. Sink had been patched to the wall. Looked like it was going to fall off. Mattress was so worn you could see body imprints. Pillows were great, room was clean. Housekeeping people were pleasant."
