Look no further. You will find everything you need for the comfortable stay in the middle of the most popular tourist attraction. The property provides the experience of living in the historical building blended with all modern necessities, compact yet very functional, from the elevator to the kitchenette and bathroom. The stuff is amazingly friendly and helpful, both Jose and Catarina were able to help and guide us making sure our questions are answered and our needs are addressed. If you are traveling as a couple - this is your place to stay in Porto

An Absolute Gem: Spotless, Serene, and Simply Perfect! 5 out of 5 Stars From the moment I arrived, my stay felt less like a hotel visit and more like a privileged invitation into a meticulously cared-for spacious refuge. This review barely scratches the surface of how perfect this booking was. The Host: Truly Fabulous The experience began with the host, who was, quite frankly, fabulous. Jose's communication was prompt, warm, and genuine, making the check-in and check-out process effortless. Jose provided personalized recommendations that enriched my trip immensely, setting a gold standard for hospitality. Location, Safety and Serenity The location is great—perfectly situated for easy access to the quai along the Douro river as well as the historical center and major attractions, yet tucked away in a very safe area. My stay was incredibly quiet and peaceful. As a single female traveler, it was the perfect refuge after a long day of exploring. Immaculate and Well-Equipped The commitment to cleanliness was astounding. The entire space was spotless. The studio was stocked with absolutely everything you could need; it was clear that every detail was thoughtfully considered for the guest’s comfort. It truly lacked nothing. Everything was fine. We booked the hotel because of the location and that it had an elevator. The elevator was very small and slow, but it fit 2 of us with our luggage. We were on the top floor. The elevator did not go to that floor. We had to walk the last flight. These things did not bother us at all. If you cannot walk, make sure to get a room on a lower floor. It was a little noisy at night since we were in the front, but again this did not bother us. This is what you get for being in a great location. I would stay here again.

Great location just steps from the Duoro River! If you want to be where the action is for an affordable price this works great. If you are claustrophobic you might not appreciate the elevator but other then that it was perfeito! Btw that front desk staff were very helpful!!

Our visit was particularly memorable because Jose and Katrina lat the front desk, who helped us plan activities before and during our trip as well as assisting us with troubleshooting credit card issues created by the BOLT driving service. We always felt well supported before and during our visit. One area of improvement would be some TV access to English TV stations such as the BBC , CNN, and CNBC.

This was a wonderful stay. Even though the staff have limited reception hours they stay available throgh online communication. The room was clean and nice. It was central to all the places I wanted to visit. I felt well taken care of and would highly recommend this stay to others.

This hotel was in a very busy and sometimes noisy area. We spoke to Jose about the noise and he explained the effort to replace windows in a historic building was challenging. He was super friendly and helpful. If you like to be in the center of action and enjoy night life this is perfect for you.

Room was large for the area, had a comfortable mattress and a nicely done kitchenette that’s stocked with all the basics you need. Location is fantastic. Staff was friendly and helpful. Provided recommendations for nearby places to eat and emailed me a self guided walking tour.

Definitivamente el MEJOR lugar para quedarte en Oporto, cuenta con todo lo necesario, nuestra habitación en especial la 5.1 tenía una vista increíble, pero lo mejor de todo es la calidad de la atención, nos recibió Joseph o José, no sé cómo se escriba en portugués y la verdad increíble la manera de tratarnos, defintivio un plus!!

Staff was so helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. It was in such an amazing location, but was still quiet at night. I would definitley suggest staying here if you are visiting Porto!

Shout out to Katarina for communication, friendliness and helpfulness. Beginning with a wonderful staff, staying at VC Ribeira was excellent. You couldn't find a better location. Clean room, comfortable beds, air conditioning, a fridge, microwave and toaster and great little pod-type coffee maker with coffee provided. From there you can choose from many restaurants, walk the winding cobbled streets, shop to your heart's content, walk along the river a half block away or cross the bridge to Gaia, or hop a tour boat. Highly recommend.
