"At the front desk was the owner, I believe. He was so nice and helpful. The room was great. Looking out at the Baltic Sea. No balcony just a small window but upstairs was a large rooftop terrace. Great place to I was able to leave my bags the next morning for a few hours while I explored the area."

"Amazing location in the center of the historic district. Easily walkable to everything in Puglia al Mare. The room was clean and great, but very small. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. Be aware that this is center city in a noisy pedestrian only street so it can be loud at night. The windows were insulated and air conditioning was great."

"Hotel San Giovanni sits right on the sea, a short tuc tuc ride from Polignano a Mare (the ride itself is half the fun). The staff couldn't do enough for us, from check in to check out they were fabulous, and breakfast was fresh, generous, lovely. A brilliant base for exploring the coast."

"The property is stunning and very peaceful. A great place for a family of 4 or two couples. The kitchen/ entertaining area is vast, everything very modern and stylish and the pool and out door seating areas amazing. A real 5 star treat for a week away. Make sure that you have a car though, as you can't walk anywhere."
